Since its establishment, the Sports Center has not only successfully hosted the 7th Hebei Provincial Games, the 2nd National Games for the Disabled, the 2nd National Urban Games, the 3rd "China-Japan-Korea" Youth Sports Exchange Conference and other comprehensive large-scale competitions. In addition, the center is actively in line with international standards, and has successively organized and hosted the first China Tangshan International Adult Swimming Invitational Tournament, the second World Men's Table Tennis Club Championship, the first International Motocross Grand Prix and other international individual competitions with international standards. And high-level facilities and services have won wide acclaim from domestic sports people. In addition, the previous Tangshan China Ceramics Expo from 1998 to 2003 were also held here, so the sports center has accumulated rich experience in holding competitions and large-scale events.

　　Shanxin Sports Center covers an area of ​​354 mu, with a construction area of ​​223,000 square meters. It mainly builds a 35,000-seat stadium, a 2,000-seat swimming pool, a 6,000-seat gymnasium and supporting commercial buildings. The swimming pool and gymnasium are planned to be completed and put into use in December this year, and the stadium is planned to be completed and put into use before the end of June 2020.
